Our August donation event was a huge success, rounding up 130 lbs. of snacks and puzzles for Sparks of Hope Recovery Support Center!
Dave Spaulding, Volunteer Food Pantry Coordinator, was overwhelmed by our group’s generosity. “Thank you very much for donating so much food to us. People might not realize that there is need for this right here in the Village [of Hamburg] but there is. I keep our food pantry stocked and after I fill the shelves they get emptied pretty quick. Your donations are going to help a lot of people so thank you.”
Sparks of Hope Recovery Support Center, a ministry of Hamburg United Methodist Church and the Southtowns faith community, provides faith-based support to individuals and families struggling with the disease of addiction by offering friendship, fellowship, and faith to individuals and families in need.
